Liz Luck

Liz Luck is a Forest Carbon Analyst with SIG. She has an educational background in sustainable agriculture, forestry and fire management, and geographic information systems. She has conducted research with CAL FIRE to assess the effects of fire treatments on greenhouse gas emissions using coding and modeling software. She has a background working in environmental consulting at Ascent, where she created carbon storage inventories for cities and counties throughout California, wrote climate action plans, and worked on the framework for Fire Adapted Communities. She is passionate about using geospatial analysis and modeling to understand carbon storage and how it can be used to mitigate climate change. In her free time she loves to surf, do yoga, and cook.
