Vanna Teck is based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. He is a technical specialist for the Measurement, Reporting, and Verification (MRV) project in Cambodia. He has also been involved as a trainer for capacitating various stakeholders (government, NGOs, private, and academe), in GIS and Remote Sensing tools.

He also served as a consultant for Junior GIS and remote sensing for the Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology. Additionally, he worked on Nature-based Solutions (NbS) and a Resettlement Cost Study (RCS), which are part of a project by Key Consultants Cambodia (KCC).

Vanna holds a Bachelor’s degree of science in Agronomy from the Meanchey University, Cambodia. In 2022, he finished his Master’s degree of science in Sustainable Ecosystem Management from the National University of Battambang, Cambodia. During his pursuit of his Master’s degree, he has also been awarded in 2019 as an exchange student of Southeast Asian Regional Center for Graduate Studies in Agriculture (SEARCA), taking MS in Food Security and Climate Change cognate on Environmental Science at the School of Environmental Science and Management of the University of the Philippines Los Banos (UPLB-SESAM).
