Shanna Hobbs is a Product Manager at Spatial Informatics Group, bringing over a decade of expertise across product management and technical roles in geographic information systems (GIS), with a focus on ecological conservation and restoration. Shanna specializes in distilling technical information into clear and actionable insights, while maintaining a customer-centric approach. In her role at SIG, she is responsible for cultivating and maintaining trusted partnerships, and translating customer requirements into actionable deliverables for software engineering teams. Prior to joining SIG, Shanna worked at Mast Reforestation, where she contributed to building scalable solutions for restoring landscapes that were devastated by catastrophic wildfire. Shanna has also operated in multiple roles for public agencies, including the King Conservation District in Washington and the National Park Service in California. Shanna holds a MSc. in Spatial Informatics from the University of Maine, and a B.A. in Environmental Studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
