Noel Rivas is a Software Engineer with Spatial Informatics Group and has over 20 years of experience building full-stack web and mobile products. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design from Universidad de Guadalajara. This background drives his focus on human factors and his ability to lead end-to-end project development from a product perspective.

Having previously directed technical strategy at his own agency, Noel has extensive consulting experience delivering custom software for environmental, conservation, and human rights nonprofits.

With expertise spanning multiple programming environments, Noel brings his enthusiasm for environmental impact to the PyreCast team, using functional programming in Clojure to deliver scientific research as accessible tools.
