George is a Geographer turned developer, George is passionate about delivering software that makes a positive impact on its users. George has a strong Geographical Information Systems (GIS) background and experience in creating systems that leverage geospatial information to solve problems in different verticals such as environmental sciences, defense, agriculture, transit & transportation.

Has over 10 years of experience developing software in Python, C#, and more recently, Clojure and Elixir. George loves open-source software, contributing to projects like PostGIS, QGIS, and others.
