Arthur took an interest in programming at 16 while doing an introductory class to programming during high school, learning the basics of Java and Visual Basic. During college, he got introduced to common-lisp and Clojure and has been programming in those languages since then. His main interests are programming language theory, specifically compilers and DSLs, distributed systems, and digital electronics.
Before joining the Environmental Mapping software team to work on Collect Earth Online, Arthur worked as a software developer at start-ups and financial institutions.
