Andrea Raschke is the Product Designer for Spatial Informatics Group. With more than a decade of experience in visual and product design, she creates, develops, and implements visual products that are focused on utility and function to best serve users and audiences. Andrea has worked for media and tech companies designing digital products.

Andrea has been integral in improving the user experience of our flagship products PyreCast and change detection tools like CoMiMo, offering a holistic understanding of the design process with firsthand experience in product architecture, design, development, and research, ensuring feasibility and effectiveness in every project.

She has completed an UX/UI design overhaul of the USFS’s fire behavior program BehavePlus along with user research and testing – the newly designed (Version 7) product is anticipated to be released in 2024. In all of these projects she pushes the envelope on accessibility compliance and UX design standards.

Andrea holds degrees in visual design, graphic design, programming, development, and has studied at the UC Berkeley.
