Kyle Woodward

Kyle supports the development of wildfire fuel datasets that inform wildfire modeling at SIG. Prior to joining SIG, he worked for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency where he helped develop high-resolution land cover datasets that inform ecosystem services and human health metrics for urban communities across the country. Kyle has expertise in geospatial analysis for environmental monitoring and management projects with a remote sensing focus. He has worked on research projects in the United States and southern Africa and is passionate about environmental management solutions that are collaborative and accessible through the use of geospatial technology.

Kyle holds a B.S. Geographic Science from James Madison University, and an M.S. Geoscience and post-baccalaureate GIS certificate from the University of North Carolina Wilmington.
