John Dilger

John Dilger received a B.S. from the University of San Francisco (USF) in Environmental Science as well as a GIS certification from USF’s Geospatial Analysis Lab. Prior to joining SIG, John was a Geoinformatics Fellow with the NASA DEVELOP National Program working out of Ames Research Center. As a Geoinformatics Fellow, John served as one of a small team providing technical remote sensing, GIS, and coding support to over 50+ DEVELOP project teams – particularly in the applied applications areas of water quality, ecological forecasting, urban development, and disasters. He has working experience building interdisciplinary teams for remote sensing projects, automating methodologies for estimating forest aboveground biomass with LIDAR technology, and building tools using cloud remote sensing platforms (e.g. Google Earth Engine). John has a passion for the applied Earth sciences.
