Andrea Puzzi Nicolau is a highly experienced remote sensing scientist and programmer with Spatial Informatics Group. She specializes in capacity building and co-development of land use, land cover change mapping and area estimation through a variety of platforms. Andrea´s recent work includes capacity building on the application and customization of Collect Earth Online and Google Earth Engine workflows to international institutions in Brazil and the Mekong, among others. She has also worked on a variety of machine-learning programming and cloud-based platforms for Land Use Land Cover Change (LULCC) classification for institutions in Latin America. In addition, she led repository and version control management in GEE and GitHub. Andrea holds a Master’s degree in Earth System Science. Andrea is a Google Developer Experts (GDE) member under the Earth Engine category.
