Travis Freed

Travis is a forest ecologist with an emphasis on GIS, remote sensing and data collection/study design. Travis received his MS degree from UC Berkeley in Forest Ecology his BS from UC Santa Barbara in Geography. For his Masters research he studied the effects of Sudden Oak Death on fuel loading and fire hazard. Prior to joining SIG he worked with PNW Fire and Environmental Research Applications Team collecting and analyzing data related to fuel consumption in prescribed burns. He has over a decade of experience designing and executing research grade field data collection.
