Thannarot Kunlamai

Thannarot (Kwan) Kunlamai holds a Master’s degree in Remote Sensing and GIS from the Asian Institute of Technology. Currently, Kwan is studying for her second Master’s degree in Information Sciences at Tohoku University in Japan. Kwan has experience with several projects under SERVIR Mekong as a Web GIS developer at the Asian Disaster Preparedness Center. For over 5 years, Kwan has worked as a highly skilled GIS web developer focused on remote sensing and programming. Kwan’s background includes working with and developing geospatial web applications using open source technologies, spatial data servers, online map platforms, cloud technology, and UX/UI design tools. In addition, Kwan also has experience in utilizing Google Earth Engine (GEE) for satellite image analyses.
