Dr. Jenna Jadin

Dr. Jenna Jadin is an evolutionary biologist and ecologist, turned science communicator, photographer, project manager, and science policy advisor who believes that without proper dissemination, thoughtful relevance and animated storytelling, science will not achieve the public good that it is meant to. For the last decade, she has been a natural resource science policy advisor and program manager, who also works on strategic and behavior change communications to infuse science-based reasoning into our world. Her clients and employers have included science-focused NGOs, the US Department of Agriculture, USAID, the Indonesian government, TV networks, international academic institutions, ecologically-minded startups, and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations. Her approaches include audience monitoring and evaluation, creative business development, storytelling photography, science writing, science and environmental communications training, and creating public science events that make complex topics accessible to non-scientists.
