Ian McCullough

Ian McCullough is a landscape ecologist with expertise in biodiversity conservation, forests, wildfire, water, climate and environmental data science. Broadly, he is interested in ecological responses to global change and identifying durable, science-driven solutions to environmental and conservation problems. Past projects include research on wildfire and climate change impacts on both aquatic and forest ecosystems, mapping species’ range shifts in response to climate change and identifying wildlife corridors. Ian holds a PhD in Environmental Science and Management from the University of California Santa Barbara, an MS in Ecology and Environmental Science from the University of Maine, and a BA in Environmental Studies from Colby College. Outside of work, Ian enjoys hiking in the Colorado mountains where he resides, running and ice hockey.
