SIG was tasked by EPA to investigate the capacities of the Canadian forest carbon (C) dynamics model CBM-CFS3 to process and analyze data from the US Forest Inventory and Analysis National Program (FIA). We processed publicly available FIA plot data to run on CBM-CFS3. This effort focused on an early validation of its use for FIA data.
