SIG designed and implemented comprehensive forest inventories at 4 US Navy Facilities, including Naval Air Station Oceana (NASO), Naval Auxiliary Landing Field Fentress (NALFF), Naval Support Activity Hampton Roads Northwest Annex (NSAHR NWA), and NASO Dam Neck Annex (DNA). The inventory was a systematic plot based sampling of live and dead trees, surface fuels, and plot photos, with all data summarized in detailed reports.
